World Health Day

WHD

World Health Day is a theme day held at the initiative of the World Health Organization (WHO) on 7 April of each year (the day it was set up).

This year on World Health Day, Universal health coverage is WHO’s number one goal.

  • Poverty,
  • The lack of good education,
  • Inefficient health policy
  • Care

These are all items that encourage many diseases and problems. The purpose of this day is to make these (but certainly also diseases that would otherwise remain in the taboo sphere) discussable.

Key to achieving this is ensuring that everyone can obtain the care they need, when they need it, right in the heart of the community.

Progress is being made in countries in all regions of the world.

But still millions of people still have no access at all to health care.

Millions more are forced to choose between health care and other daily expenses such as food, clothing and even a home.

Let’s make the World a Healthier place!

I’m proud to live in one of the 10th HEALTHIEST countries in the world, according to Bloomberg’s index.
